OUR SPECIAL 11/22/17 SHOW!
In a time when there is so much emphasis on passing trends and fleeting novelties, Experience Talks gives a voice to those who’ve seen a few things, to discuss the subjects that make a difference in how we view ourselves and our world, and to discover what endures.
Experience in the hands of people like former Press Secretary Dee Dee Myers, cartoonist Lalo Alcaraz, jazz vocalist Carmen Lundy, spiritual teacher Ram Dass, and poet Lawrence Ferlinghetti provides knowledge, wisdom, and insights worth passing on. Experience is a valuable teacher for not only the famous, like actors Ed Asner and Shirley Maclaine, but also for people out of the spotlight, like educators, activists, and our EngAGE community residents featured on our live performances in Minneapolis and Portland. In seeking out what our varied guests have to say, we hope to give you, the listener, something significant to reflect on, perhaps smile about, and share with the people in your lives.
